Making learning a fun journey
In partnership with CrossCountry Trains, we’ve developed an app designed to enhance young travellers' journeys with fun AR activities and educational facts. Using gamification theories, we worked with CrossCountry Trains to develop an app suitable for young travellers to help keep them entertained while also presenting an opportunity to learn new information about locations on their journey.
Travellers are presented with a customisable train, with switchable parts and colours, including an engine part that unlocks additional journeys. Users can unlock parts by earning points from completing puzzle games.
Additional content includes digital colouring pages that come to life in AR and selfie filters to share.
